Buyers go through an onboarding and education process designed to help them better understand the journey ahead, their goals, their timeline, and the questions they want answered.

By the time they're connected with one of our referral partners, the first conversation can focus less on explaining the basics and more on building a relationship and creating a strategy.

Smoove Move isn't designed to replace what great Realtors do. It's designed to help them do it even better.

When a qualified buyer becomes available, eligible Realtors serving that market receive a notification by email and/or text.

Claiming a referral is simple. The agent clicks the secure claim link and selects Claim Lead.

The first eligible agent to successfully claim the opportunity receives the client exclusively. Anyone attempting to claim afterward is informed that the lead is no longer available.

Referral Partner FAQs

What is the referral fee? +

The Smoove Move referral fee is 25% of the earned commission, collected through the appropriate brokerage process at closing.

Do I need to change brokerages? +

No. Referral Partners remain with their existing brokerages. We want our partners to stay with the brokerage that is the best fit for their business.

Can I participate in other referral networks? +

Absolutely. Smoove Move is intended to complement your existing business, not restrict it.

How many Realtors can join each market? +

Initially, Smoove Move plans to limit participation to approximately five agents per market. That number may expand as buyer demand and referral volume grow.

Are referrals exclusive? +

Yes. Once an agent successfully claims a referral, that client is assigned exclusively to that Realtor through the Smoove Move system.

What happens if a client stops responding? +

Let Smoove Move know. We'll reach out to the client, document the communication, and help determine the appropriate next steps.

Can I decline a referral after claiming it? +

Yes, when there is a legitimate reason. We understand circumstances can change. The important thing is to communicate with Smoove Move promptly.

What if I'm unavailable or on vacation? +

Because opportunities are claimed on a first-come, first-served basis within each partner level, you may simply miss opportunities while you're unavailable. New opportunities can still become available when you return.

Can I temporarily pause my participation? +

Yes. Partners can notify Smoove Move when they need to temporarily pause their account and request reactivation when they're ready to receive referrals again.

Do you only refer buyers? +

Currently, Smoove Move's primary focus is buyer referrals. As the network grows into additional referral opportunities, existing partners may also be given access to those programs.

Do I need to be a veteran to become a Referral Partner? +

No. Smoove Move welcomes qualified Realtors. However, because many of our clients are veterans, partners should understand VA financing and be prepared to serve the unique needs of military and veteran homebuyers.
